With an associate’s degree in liberal arts and sciences, you’d be considered for a range of jobs over candidates without a degree. You might work in retail, sales, hospitality or administrative support. But we’ll encourage you to continue your studies, since you’ll find greater opportunities with a bachelor’s degree.

Common disciplinary interests among liberal arts and sciences students include psychology, sociology and English.  If you go on to get your bachelor’s in liberal arts, you’ll be able to choose from careers in education, social sciences and public service, to name a few. Many employers hire liberal arts graduates because of their well-rounded education and ability to adapt to a fast-changing workplace.
