If you’re eager to serve, you’ve come to the right place. At The New Community College, we can help you build a career in one of the helping professions. That’s why we designed our human services major.

During your time with us, you’ll take academic courses while getting experience in the field, engaging with the communities where you live. We want you to understand our society’s framework for providing social services and health care so you can create innovative solutions to challenges and advocate for quality-of-life improvements. You’ll learn to promote and respect the dignity of all people while honoring cultural diversity.

As a human service worker, you’ll find job opportunities in a range of settings. You may find yourself serving children, senior citizens or adults with disabilities. Perhaps you’ll be a community activist, a social worker or a health educator. In whatever field you select, you’ll have the opportunity to change lives for the better.
